Well, this year’s Nationals are winding down, all the rooms are closed and the final banquet will be this evening. I don’t envy the work the judges had to do this year, as the quality of work on the contest room tables was truly amazing.

There were plenty of vendors here, and I feel like I made some good deals and am taking home a nice haul of kits, tools, and books. And I even stayed within my budget for a change!
Earl had his 1/8 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 on the contest table and won a special award – the Best Italian Subject, from IPMS Italy. We’ll have to wait and see if it will bring home anything else.
We’re going to load up the car with stuff this evening so we don’t have to fight for carts in the morning. We’ll be hitting the road home early and hope to get there by Monday night.
