2016 Nationals – ‘Best of Category’ Winners
This is the first year that IPMS has done this, and I wish they did it for all of the awards. But here are the overall ‘Best of’ awards for each category.
Best Military Vehicle – IDF M2
Best Aircraft – 1/48 Me262
Best Ship – 1/32 Sub Chaser
Best Auto – “Ghiorsche”
Best Diorama – ‘Victory and Contempt’
Best Sci-Fi – ‘Project Bumper’
Best Miscellaneous – Korean Air Power
Best Junior
Best Figure – 3rd Century German Warrior
2016 Nationals – Late Additions
Here’s a few models that weren’t included in the individual galleries, as they came in after I had already photographed a section. There’s also a few that I just liked a lot and took some additional photos. The Avenger in this gallery was outstanding, and was doubtless in contention for the Best Aircraft award.
2016 Nationals – Figure Gallery 1
I did my best with these photos. The area where the figures was displayed had some darker areas, but unfortunately with the white table cloth the flash on my camera wouldn’t always deploy. So I noticed a few darker or blurred photos, particularly on the smaller figures.
